ENCANTO Project Hosts General Assembly in Basel for Key Updates on Osteoarthritis Research
The ENCANTO project held its second General Assembly in Basel from September 5-6, 2024, at ETH Zurich, gathering researchers, clinicians, and stakeholders to discuss advancements in osteoarthritis (OA) research and therapy development. Key sessions highlighted the project’s progress in personalized OA treatments, with presentations on patient safety protocols, data management, and clinical trial logistics.
The assembly emphasized standardized procedures across clinical sites, with rigorous training for safe data collection and storage. Attendees also discussed the economic impact of OA therapies, the project’s physiotherapy program, and innovations in cartilage regeneration.
Looking forward, ENCANTO will prepare for its next General Assembly in May 2025 in Dubrovnik, Croatia, during the Seefort conference.
