ENCANTO Partners Meet for the 5th General Assembly in Reggio Calabria
The ENCANTO consortium gathered on July 2nd and 3rd, 2026, in Reggio Calabria, Italy, for the project’s 5th General Assembly, bringing together representatives of partner organizations from across Europe to review progress and coordinate the next phase of the project.
The meeting provided an opportunity to present updates from the clinical and scientific work packages, assess progress across ongoing activities, and discuss upcoming milestones. Particular attention was given to patient recruitment and the coordination of activities supporting the project’s clinical implementation.
As the project advances, regular consortium meetings play an important role in ensuring effective collaboration among partners, facilitating knowledge exchange, and maintaining alignment across the different work packages.
Funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme, ENCANTO aims to develop an innovative regenerative treatment for patellofemoral osteoarthritis based on nasal cartilage and N-TEC technology. Through the combined expertise of its multidisciplinary consortium, the project is working to translate cutting-edge research into new therapeutic approaches for patients.
The General Assembly was hosted by the project’s coordinators in Reggio Calabria and concluded with discussions on the next steps and priorities for the coming project period.
